3 Minute Film Festival

Eligibility This contest is open to First Nation groups, individuals, or schools in the Atlantic Region
Prizes

Films will be judged on mainstream appeal, creativity, storyline, acting, direction, composition, audio quality, lighting quality, and editing.

Films will be judged as being of Gold, Silver, or Bronze level quality.

Remember that films will be posted on the Atlantic First Nations Help Desk website, so films that contain "inappropriate content" may be disqualified.

Cash prizes will be awarded.

  • Gold Level Films will receive $300
  • Silver Level Films will receive $200
  • Bronze Level Films will receive $100
Rules Create a video with a running time of 3 minutes.

Films:

  • must have been created during the 2005 school year.
  • of any genre will be accepted, including but not limited to, Documentary, Animation, Comedy, Drama or Experimental.
  • should be three minutes in length (films more than 4 minutes long will not be accepted).
  • should be submitted in MiniDV or DVD format (MiniDV tapes will be returned).
